New blog one month, Britblog again

1.  Tomorrow makes it one month that this blog has been running.  I just looked at the stats for the old blog and it’s embarrassing – they’ve gone up since I stopped blogging there.  This one is building but very, very slowly.

2.  Slow blogging just now as well.

What I don’t like when anyone has to do this, due to real life pressures, is that the first to suffer are the visits to other blogs.  Second to suffer is the quality of the posts and I’m trying not to let them drop away too far – it’s time for one of those blockbusters again.

There are work related issues currently pouring in.

3.  This weekend, despite what it says at their site, I’m doing the Britblogroundup again.  I’m stepping in for the regular, Susanne.  Please get your recommended posts for any UK based bloggers in to:

It will appear at 15:00, Sunday, October 25th.

With the stats it doesn’t really matter if you get lots of hits on the old blog, it means the posts are just as interesting and relevant as when you posted them.

It’ll catch up as your old posts become less relevant.

I know how you feel. I’ve been re-blogging for a couple of months and still haven’t managed to get back many of my previous redership.*

I blame RSS readers. Well, that’s what I’m telling myself, anyhow. 😉

    * in fact, I think I’ve been re-united with a total of one, lol

I just found out that our stats are way lower than what we though they were so your not alone….

I can tell you one thing though. This blog is fantastic….don’t be too hard on yourself James, your probably one of the most loved and respected bloggers I have come across. Please Please Please don’t EVER give up….I have never know an output like yours….you put the rest of us to shame.

    Now chin up.

Can’t remember the quote properly or the author but it went something like this “I have had a great life….if only id realised it earlier”.

Mind you it can be a bit of bummer of a quote if your feeling down.

    All the best.

Someone’s already nominated Harry, Mutley and TEV and I’ll be putting in one from Cherie and Lord T I saw, as well as a couple of others.

WOW a nomination!!!!!!! that will be our first I think!!!!!!!

Only trouble is we will be changing our site as of tomorrow night (Sooooo excited can’t shut up about it!!!) and all the article URLs……and we are having the different blogspot accounts just as link pages over to the main site….so upheaval is in the air.

    I feel like I am moving house….
