To give your brains a rest this evening – some pieces of trivia, rather than a quiz:

2. In 1810, Peter Durand invented the tin can for preserving food.
3. The word “comet” comes from the Greek word “kometes” meaning long hair.
4. Venus is the only planet in our system that rotates clockwise, viewed from its north pole.
5. The letter J does not appear anywhere on the periodic table of the elements.
