Did you stay up for it?

Despite the idiot commentator trying to politicize it again by saying that because the girls did wonderfully well, that that means everything is fine with the organizers and the government and no one should knock them – no it doesn’t mean that at all, the thing is a fiasco – despite all that though, there were obviously going to be some exciting times.

This was one of them – first time for GB in the volleyball:

Well done, girls.

Off topic I know.. but I do like those old AD Posters you keep putting in your side bar. Commercial in their time.. but art also, maybe more so now. I love the style of National parks ones also.

Thanks, Moggsy – they’re meant to add to the atmosphere, I suppose. Not an original idea – got it from Jesse:

    … and really liked them.

Sadly, the usable posters are now running out and I might start the second series with film music score posters of the day but the problem is that they’re all women and it might look like a fixation with women.

I was thinking of humour posters, of which I also have many but many of those are women too. I’d thought to do some classic machinery as well. Decisions, decisions. ;-)
