In Part 1, the film which caused the killing of the embassy official was mentioned and why it should even have been released at this time was surmised.     Then I went on to a defence of Islam in the words of Muslims.    Finally, the other side of the coin was put.

This continues below.

Some other verses from the Qur’an:

Kill the disbelievers wherever we find them” (Koran 2:191)

“Not to make friendship with Jews and Christians” (Koran 5:51)

I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: you smite them above their necks and smite all their fingertips off them.” (Koran, 8:12)

“Fight and slay the Pagans, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem” (Koran 9:5)
Our God tells us to “fight the unbelievers” and “He will punish them by our hands, cover them with shame and help us (to victory) over them” (Koran 9:14).

“Unless we go forth, (for Jihad) He will punish us with a grievous penalty, and put others in our place” (Koran 9:39).
“O Prophet! Make war against the unbelievers [all non-Muslims] and the hypocrites and be merciless against them. Their home is hell, an evil refuge indeed.” (Koran, 9:73)

“Murder them and treat them harshly” (Koran 9:123)

“When you meet the unbelievers in jihad [Holy war], chop off their heads. And when you have brought them low, bind your prisoners rigorously. Then set them free or take ransom from them until the war is ended.” (Koran, 47:40)
“When we decide to destroy a population, we send a definite order to them who have the good things in life and yet sin. So that Allah’s word is proven true against them, then we destroy them utterly.” (Koran, 17:16-17)

“Strike off the heads of the disbelievers” (Koran 47:4) Further, make him march in a chain, whereof the length is seventy cubits!

“The Christians say: The Christ is the son of Allah; “Fight against such as those to whom the Scriptures were given [Jews and Christians] … until they pay tribute out of hand and are utterly subdued.” (Surah 9:29)

These are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them.” (Surah 9:30)

“Unbelievers are those who say: ‘God is one of three.’ There is but one God. If they do not desist from so saying, those of them that disbelieve shall be sternly punished.” (Surah 5:73)

Their punishment is…execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from the opposite sides, or exile from the land. Sura 5:33 recording what is done to infidels who resist Islam.

Let the last word go to the mentor of Osama bin Laden, Sheik Abdullah Azzam:

“Jihad must not be abandoned until Allah alone is worshipped by mankind…Jihad and the rifle alone…no negotiations, no conferences and no dialogue. The Palestinians are, as usual, disposable pawns in a larger game. The objective of al-Qaeda is to follow the Koranic blueprint to its logical conclusion; global jihad, a second age of conversion by the sword, the destruction of the West, and the establishment of a global Islamic theocracy.”

Mohammed [peace be upon him] was a Holy Man

A prophet of God is, by definition, a person of high moral integrity, one who has served and lived for his God. Men like John the Baptist, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniel, and many others fit the bill as far as living a holy life before God is concerned.

Islam makes the same claims for the man whom it considers to be the final prophet of Allah:

“Such was our Holy Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). He was a prodigy of extraordinary merits, a paragon of virtue and goodness, a symbol of truth and veracity, a great apostle of God, His messenger to the entire world.

His life and thought, his truth and straightforwardness, his piety and goodness, his character and morals, his ideology and achievements – all stand as unimpeachable proofs of his prophethood.

Any human being who studies his life and teachings without bias will testify that verily he was the True Prophet of God and the Qur’an – the Book he gave to mankind – the true book of God. No unbiased and serious seeker of truth can escape this conclusion.” 1

So let’s look at the moral rectitude of The Prophet [peace be upon him]:

The Qur’an in Surah 4:3 limits a man to four wives. Mohammed took to himself 16 wives through formal marriage. In addition, he kept two women as slave-concubines, and had four devout Muslim women who “gave” themselves to Mohammed as acts of devotion.

Mohammed’s 16 Wives (Muslims are allowed 4 wives):

1. Khadija
2. Sawda
3. Aesha (married at 6, consummated at 9)
4. Omm Salama
5. Halsa
6. Zaynab (of Jahsh, originally Muhammad’s adopted son Zaid’s wife)
7. Jowayriyi
8. Omm Habiba
9. Safiya (the Jewish girl)
10. Maymuna (of Hareth)
11. Fatema
12. Hend
13. Asma (of Saba)
14. Zaynab (of Khozayma)
15. Habla
16. Asma (of Noman)

Mohammed’s concubines/slaves:

1. Mary (the Christian)
2. Rayhana

Mohammed’s devoted followers who “gave” themselves to satisfy him.

1. Omm Sharik
2. Maymuna
3. Zaynab (3rd of this name).
4. Khawla

Please advise f any of this is factually wrong.

His first wife, Khadija Bibi, was his employer while he was still a caravan driver. She was his senior by 15 years, and many indications seem to show that she proposed to him, unusual for Arabian society at the time, but less so when the man was in an inferior social and economic situation to the woman [2].

His sixth wife, Zaynab of Jahsh was originally the wife of his adopted son, Zayd. However, Mohammed became smitten with Zaynab, and Zayd offered to divorce her so that she could marry Mohammed. This was carried out, and caused great scandal among the early Muslim followers until Mohammed had a revelation.

“Behold! Thou didst say to one who had received the grace of Allah and thy favor: “Retain thou thy wife, and fear Allah.” But thou didst hide in thy heart that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people but it is more fitting that thou shouldst fear Allah.

Then when Zaid had dissolved with her, We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that there may be no difficulty to the Believers in marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have dissolved with them. And Allah’s command must be fulfilled.” (Surah 33:37)

Thence, it became acceptable for men to marry the wives of their sons. Interestingly, it is in this same Surah that Mohammed was given a special exemption from the four-wives limit imposed earlier. (Surah 33:50).

Mohammed’s seventeenth woman, Mary, was a Coptic Christian who was given to Mohammed as a gift from the ruler of Egypt. Refusing to renounce her Coptic Christianity and accept Islam, she refused to marry him, and instead remained his slave.

His third wife, Ayesha, was six years of age when he married her, nine when he consummated the relationship and she remained his favourite wife throughout the rest of his life. When he died at the age of 62, she was 17 years old.

A woman named Duba Bint Amr, who “was among the most beautiful of Arab women….her hair was long enough to cover all her body” caught Mohammed’s attention. Mohammed asked her son if he could marry her, but then retracted the offer after finding out that, though she was beautiful, she was also aging [3].

Muslims claim that Mohammed married many of his women out of a charitable desire to protect widows.  Mohammed advocated, “A woman can be married for religion, her fortune, or her beauty. So marry one for the religion.” [4]

Many Muslim men marry non-Muslim women in the West, for example, Dodi Fayeed. It’s easier to bring a woman towards Islam when married to her.

Muslim men are promised 72 virgins there for perpetual enjoyment. Qur’an, in Surat 37:40-48, 44:51-55, 52:17-20, 55:56-58, 70-77, 56:7-40, and 78:31.

28 boys will also be available for men in the Muslim paradise. (Surat 52:24, 56:17, and 76:19) There is also wine, wealth, and food for the enjoyment of those who have passed on.

A merciful man:

In 623 AD, late in that year, several of his followers, acting upon orders, ambushed and looted a small Meccan caravan. One Meccan was killed, two others taken as slaves, and a sizeable amount of booty captured [5].

Mohammed next personally led a raid on the main caravan of the Meccan Quraysh tribe, returning from Syria. In this raid, he led 305 men and was engaged in battle at Badr by a Meccan force of 800-900, with the outcome being a Muslim win.

This is heralded as one of the greatest victories in history and a miracle from Allah and thus sanctions this method of wealth acquisition. This was to prove useful in the years to come. Mohammed and the Muslims were unpopular with the Meccans and others with commercial interests in the region after this.

In 625, the Meccans sent an army of about 3,000 against Medina, the city where Mohammed and the Muslims had fled to when they escaped from Mecca several years before. Mohammed elected to meet this army on the field of battle, and the Muslims were seriously defeated, with Mohammed himself wounded and sent fleeing from the battlefield.

Because of internal dissension, the Meccans failed to follow up their advantage and didn’t pursue the Muslims.

Two years later they returned and attempted to lay siege to Medina. Being forewarned, Mohammed acted upon the advice of a Persian friend and ordered a ditch dug around the weaker defence quarters of Medina as protection. This artifice, previously unknown in Arabia, hindered the Meccans and their allies, who lifted the siege and departed [6].

After this victory, Mohammed finished the expulsion of several Jewish tribes from Medina and expropriated their lands and properties.

In 629 AD, Mohammed signed a ten year peace treaty with Mecca.

In 630 AD, the Meccans surrendered to Mohammed’s armed attack with barely a fight and the Muslims entered the city victoriously. Muhammed had amassed great personal wealth and power, and Arab tribes from all over the peninsula flocked to him.

During this time, his men, who had previously followed the tradition of solemnly binding oaths, learned that they might evade these obligations and that it was acceptable to shed the blood of infidels, in the cause of God, receiving divine approval thereby.

Other nations noted the gradual increase in the obscenity of the Muslim language. Coveting of goods and wives (possessed by unbelievers) was avowed as right and proper by the prophet, in the cause of Allah.” [7]

Mohammed himself received, by “divine” decree, a fifth of all booty captured in war:

“To whichever village you go and settle therein, there is your share therein, and whichever village disobeys Allah and His Messenger, its one-fifth is for Allah and His Messenger and the remainder is for you.” [8]

The remainder, of course, went to the Muslim followers who took part in battle. Hence, warfare was good business for a Muslim. After conquest, Islam was further strengthened by the “three choices” option imposed upon conquered peoples. Subject nations were offered one of three choices: accept Islam and become members of Dar es-Salaam; pay the jizyah, the unbelievers tax; or suffer death [9].

After defeating one Jewish town, Mohammed ordered the beheading of all the adult males in the place, numbering anywhere from 700-1000 individuals. The women and children were sold into slavery, and the town looted [10].

Muslims will point, of course, to the similar story of Joshua and the pogrom in Jericho and stress that these were particularly violent times in general.

Muslim tradition recounts that upon taking Mecca, Mohammed ordered the death of a poetess of the city, Asma, daughter of Marwan, who had ridiculed him and who had pointed out that some of the material in the Qur’an had actually been stolen from her poet father and used by Mohammed.

The traditions relate this story as follows:

“The Apostle of Allah said, ‘Who will rid me of the daughter of Marwan?’ “ Upon hearing this, the Companion Umair ibn Udaj went to her house and killed her, reporting back to Mohammed of the deed the next day. It is then recorded: “Then in the morning he was with the Apostle of Allah and said to him, ‘O Apostle of Allah, verily I have killed her.’ Then (Mohammed) said, ‘Thou hast helped Allah and His Apostle, O Umair!’ “ [11]

Mohammed ordered the death of an old man who mocked the Muslim pride in their dirty foreheads. Muslims in Mohammed’s day were proud of their method of prayer, placing their foreheads directly in the dirt. The elderly man, mockingly suggesting that there was more to prayer than having a dirty forehead, took some dirt, spread it on his own forehead and stated that this was good enough for him. Mohammed ordered his Muslim followers to execute the old man, which they duly did [12].

In the ahadith is recorded an Arabian Jew of the tribe of the Bene Nadir named Ka’b ibnu’l Ashraf, who was believed to have been conspiring against Mohammed’s life, as well as singing insulting songs about Muslim women. For these offences:

“The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Who will kill Ka’b ibnu’l Ashraf? He has maligned Allah, the Exalted, and His Messenger!'” “Muhammad ibn Maslama said: ‘Messenger of Allah, do you wish that I should kill him?’ He said: ‘Yes” … so Muhammad ibn Maslama came to Ka’b, pretending to be a dissident of Islam to gain his confidence. He asked for the loan of foodstuffs. It was agreed upon to pledge weapons in exchange. Muhammad ibn Maslama promised that he would return with three (four) friends.

That night, when his wife heard them, she exclaimed: “I hear a voice which sounds like the voice of murder”, but Ka’b quietened her and went down to them. Muhammad (ibn Maslama) said to his companions: “As he comes down, I will extend my hands towards his head and when I hold him fast, you should do your job.'”

They conversed about the “very fine smell” of the scent of his hair. Being allowed to smell his hair, he held his head fast” and said to his companions: ‘Do your job.’ And they killed him.” [14]

Ibn Hisham, the early Muslim biographer, relates another aspect of this story in which young Ibn Maslama carries out his great service to Allah:

“[Mohammed said} All that is incumbent upon you is that you should try. ‘Ibn Maslama said: ‘O Apostle of God, we shall have to tell lies.’ He answered: ‘Say what you like, for you are free in the matter. Go in God’s name; O God help them.’ After having seized the locks of Ka’b, Muhammad ibn Maslama recalls: ‘Then I recalled my dagger, seized it … and I stuck it into his abdomen, then I pressed till it reached his genitals, and the enemy of Allah fell. [This] cast terror among the Jews, and there was no Jew in Medina who did not fear for his life.’ [15]

Ibn Ishaq further elaborates that:

“The Apostle of Allah said, ‘Kill any Jew that falls into your power.’ “ [16]

There is some contrast between Islam’s Mohammed and Jesus of Nazareth:

“Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus to put him to death; But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none….” (Matthew 26:59-60)

After being questioned, Pilate pronounced his own judgment on the matter of Jesus. “Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.” (Luke 23:4)

Judas, who had betrayed him, repented and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders. Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood…” (Matthew 27:3-4)

In Surah 19:19, the angel speaks to Mary concerning her son to be born, ‘Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a pure son.'”

Islam is a religion of peace

Planes are commandeered and flown into the World Trade Center towers in New York. Who is responsible? A group of Muslims. In Islamic countries, the streets are full of Muslims celebrating the carnage. No Muslin leader steps forward to apologize, to publicly refute the actions of those responsible. There is only silence from the Muslim leaders around the world. But, we are told, Islam is a religion of peace.

In Bali, a bomb explodes at a nightclub killing hundreds of innocent individuals, mainly Australians. A group of Muslims again. But, we are reminded, Islam is a religion of peace.

In Nigeria, hundreds of Muslim youths go on a rampage following their Friday prayers. Armed with sticks, daggers and knives, they set fire to vehicles and attack anyone they suspect of being Christian. Over 100 people are dead. They are upset with an article in a local paper — ThisDay — which suggests that the Prophet Mohammed would have probably chosen to marry one of the Miss World contestants if he had witnessed the beauty pageant hosted by Nigeria.

The newspaper apologizes for the article, which they say was run by mistake, but the rampage continues despite the apology. We must remember that Islam is a religion of peace.

In the Philippines, Muslim rebels ambush a Canadian company’s workers, killing 12 and injuring 10. Earlier, on Christmas Eve, a bomb made from an 81-mm mortar shell filled with nail fragments explodes outside the home of a town’s mayor, killing 17 people. But remember, Islam is a religion of peace.

In Pakistan, three Christian girls — ages 6, 10, and 15 — attend a Christmas Day service. Two assailants covered in burqas — the all-encompassing garment worn by women in some Islamic countries — toss a bomb into the church where 40 Christians have gathered. The girls die. One of those detained is an Islamic cleric who told his followers to kill the Christians. Let us not forget that Islam is a religion of peace.

In eastern India, a gang armed with crude bombs attacks a Christian church, wounding six people and robbing hundreds of others. In Bangladesh, police guard churches as the nation’s small Christian community celebrates Christmas with prayers, carols, and feasts.

In the Sudan, the current death toll has topped two million Christians. Islam is a religion of peace.

In Yemen, a Muslim extremist shoots and kills three American Southern Baptist medical missionaries. Islam is a religion of peace.

What do they want? Land? Money? Political power? No. They want none of these things – they want to attack and kill the “infidels.” That earns their reward in Paradise. Islam is a religion of peace.

Perhaps these Muslims are just extremists outside the mainstream of Islam. Fine, so where then are the Muslim leaders denouncing these extremists? Islam is a religion of peace.

Islam’s Fatwa Against the World

By Donald E. Wildmon December 31, 2002 founder and chairman of American Family Association.

The world persists in believing that Islam is not evil but the true religion and that there is no plan for world domination. Muslim clerics count upon the Western world remaining ignorant.

The West does not read the Muslim press. Sunni Sheikh Yousef Al-Qaradhawi and other clerics are heralding the coming conquest of Rome, this in accordance with the prophecy of Muhammad. [MEMRI: Special Dispatch Series – No. 447] [1]

The Sheikh declared on one of his television programs that, “Islam will return to Europe as a conqueror.” The fatwa is posted on the website

Sheikh Yousef Al-Qaradhawi wrote about the “signs of the victory of Islam,” He stated that the Prophet Muhammad was asked; “What city will be conquerored first, Constantinople or Romiyya?” He replied, “The city of Heracles will be conquered first” – that is, Constantinople. History shows that the “city of Heracles” was conquered by the Ottoman, Muhammad bin Morad, also known as Muhammad the Conqueror, in 1453.

The other city, Romiyya, (Rome) still remains to be conquered.

Sheikh Yousef Al-Qaradhawi added, “This means that Islam will return to Europe as a conqueror and victor….I maintain that the conquest this time will not be by the sword but by preaching and ideology..” [2]

The sheikh stated that materialism will become the demize of Europe and at that point will seek for an alternative but it will find none. He said that they will look for a lifesaver but will only find it in the message of Islam, the message of the muezzin who gives it religion but does not deny it this world, brings it to Heaven, but does not uproot it from Earth.

Then Europe will convert to Islam. [3]

If Islam continues on the course set by their Prophet, there is no doubt that this conquest will happen. The vast worldwide migration of Muslims throughout the world has especially come to Europe. Europe doesn’t see the ramifications of this immigration, except maybe now in France.

Granted, some countries are rethinking their immigration policy, but not for the reasons expressed here. While expressing some distress over the growing Muslim population, the EU has gone out of their way to show religious tolerance and have condemned the limitation of immigration.

This may well be the fatal mistake of the EU.

Rome in its tolerance of all religions, has placed the Vatican within range of Islam as well. Saudi Sheikh Muhammad bin Abd Al-Rahman Al-‘Arifi, the imam of the mosque of the King Fahd Defense Academy stated, “We will control the Vatican; we will control Rome and introduce Islam. [the Christians] will yet pay us the Jiziya [poll tax paid by non-Muslims under the Muslim rule], suffer humiliation or they will convert to Islam…”[4]

The Vatican, attempting to thwart a Muslim hijacking of Catholicism, has been magnanimous toward Islam.

Paul VI, Ecclesiam Suam 107, August 6, 1964:

“Then [we refer] to the adorers of God according to the conception of monotheism, the Muslim religion especially deserving of our admiration for all that is true and good in their worship of God.”[5]

John Paul II, address to the Catholic community of Ankara, Turkey, November 29, 1979, after quoting Nostra Aetate 3, above:

“My brothers, when I think of this spiritual heritage (Islam) and the value it has for man and for society, its capacity of offering, particularly in the young, guidance for life, filing the gap left by materialism, and giving a reliable foundation to social and juridical organization, I wonder if it is not urgent, precisely today when Christians and Muslims have entered a new period of history, to recognize and develop the spiritual bonds that unite us, in order to preserve and promote together for the benefit of all men, ‘peace, liberty, social justice and moral values’ as the Council calls upon us to do (Nostra Aetate 3).”[6]

John Paul II, To Christians (and others) in Bangladesh, November 19, 1986:

“You must try to show your Muslim brethren and the followers of other religious traditions that your Christian faith, far from weakening your sense of pride in your homeland and your love for her, helps you to prize and respect the culture and heritage of Bangladesh.  It inspires you to face the challenges of the present day with love and responsibility. . …” [7]

Christian compassion?

In July of 2001, 150 members of 50 Christian families (women and children included) of Nilganj Union in Kalapara Upazela district of Patuakhali were abducted by Islamics.   The homes were looted, lands confiscated, and some members of the familes were systematically tortured.

John Paul II, Message to the faithful of Islam at the end of the month of Ramadan, April 3, 1991:

“To all Muslims throughout the world, I wish to express the readiness of the Catholic Church to work together with you and all the people of good will to aid the victims of the war and … from which there can arise a strengthened mutual knowledge and trust, and the assurance that each one everywhere will be able to profess freely and authentically his or her own faith”.[8]

The Muslim response is in the Qur’an:

An-Nisâ’56. Surely! Those who disbelieved in Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) We shall burn them in Fire. As often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for other skins that they may taste the punishment. Truly, Allâh is Ever Most Powerful, AllWise.

Al-Mâ’idah 33. The recompense of those who wage war against Allâh and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter.

Am I mis-stating the case? Am I twisting the context?

John Paul II, Novo Millennio Ineunte 55, January 6, 2001:

“This dialogue must continue. In the climate of increased cultural and religious pluralism which is expected to mark the society of the new millennium, it is obvious that this dialogue will be especially important in establishing a sure basis for peace and warding off the dread spectre of those wars of religion which have so often bloodied human history. The name of the one God must become increasingly what it is: a name of peace and a summons to peace.”[9]

Where in the Bible does it say that there should be “inter-religious” dialogue? “Be ye not unequally yoked with unbelievers..”[II Corinthians 6:14]. Islam states that Christians are not believers. Christianity may seek peace, but Islam has never shown this trait.

John Paul II, address to the Angelus, November 18, 2001:

“… In particular, we wish to bring Christians and Muslims together to proclaim to the world that religion must never be a reason for conflict, hatred and violence. “[10]

Religion has a history of violence, evidenced by the Inquisition and the Ottoman Empire. The tenets of the Quran preach that violence. But no where in the Testament of Christianity is such violence advocated.

The Vatican believes that reaching out to Islam will bring peace. Do they see the hand behind the back holding the sword?

Europe is not Islam’s only conquest. It has its eyes set upon India as well. The Sudanese Sheikh Muhammad Abd Al-Karim, said, “The Prophet said that Muslims would take India and a second group that would be with Jesus, the son of Mary would be in the battle of Judgment Day.” [11]

The plan is fairly clear. Take down the “Christian” world, then go to the largest country in the Eastern part of the world that is not predominantly Muslim and bring it also to its knees. Then the Americas. With half the world “converted”, for how long could the United States stand?

This is no conspiracy theory. Arabic newspapers as well as TV station Al Jazeera have continually stated this. If there was an objection by the Muslim clerics to the mantras being expressed, the media outlets would be shut down.

There is a Fatwa against the non-Muslim world put there by the Prophet Muhammad.

At the beginning of this series, I stated that if anything was factually wrong, that that went against the site rules and it would be removed henceforth. Please show me where any of those numbered Surahs and hadiths did not say what they did.

Please show me where the events of Mohammed’s life [peace be upon him] were factually incorrect, i.e. the events did not occur at all.

Please show me where the things I’ve included are factually wrong. Not biased, not hostile – but wrong.

I am not exhorting anyone to adopt the tactics described in these first two parts because, as a Christian, I am not permitted to exhort violence, let alone condone it.

Nor am I denying that most Muslim people might be like most people in the UK and US – good people, not all that religious, no more inclined to hurt you than Mother Theresa.

I know many Muslims and would be horrified if, as a result of this series, any people were threatened or hurt. This series is not against people, it is for them. It is not for you to turn your wrath upon any person in this country on the basis of his or her religion. He or she has every right to practise whatever faith he likes, free from intimidation or scorn.

He or she is a human being.

The religion itself though and it’s top man are fair game, just as the Buddha and Jesus of Nazareth are fair game. Analyse each of those in detail in your own post – it’s called free speech.

This series of posts is to show the reality, the truth about Islam and Mohammed [peace be upon him]. If you still wish to be under the rule of such a system, I’m not suggesting you don’t.

Peace be upon you all.
