Christmas flash mob

Via Amfortas – his Christmas wishes [with no overtones] but my text [with overtones]:

Such a pity Beethoven was hijacked for political purposes by the detested socialist EU because it negates the whole message in this flash mob vid.   The message, as you know, is one of freedom and joy – the precise opposite of what the EU is trying to foist on Europe as a whole and not doing a very good job of it.

So, in its original spirit of goodwill, pre-EU:

Personally, I loved the singing and the Christmas sentiment. The ‘Flash Mob’ idea has been around a few years now and as far as I can tell from watching quite a few, everyone enjoys them and no-one gets shitty about them.

But…. whatif…. a bunch of happy Muslims suddenly broke into chanting for Allah. Musically of course. A bit of dancing too. Crikey it would make a change. Especially in a Mall in downtown Dallas.

Ode To Joy should not be hijacked by the vile and disgusting EU any more than the Cross Of St. George by the vile and disgusting BNP, it is up to us to claim them back.
From the opposite end I’m still confused about why Wagner is still vilified just because A.Hitler later took a liking to his stuff.

It is a matter of opinion and taste of course, Banned, but in my view Wagner’s music is turgid and he murdered Wolfram’s Parzival.
