Cue the faux outrage

Absolutely shocked by the homophobia in this:

That bit where Piet was stored under the bed was outrageous – everyone knows that gays don’t hide under beds – communists do!

And as for Muslim radicals, feminists, politicians and the KKK – don’t even think of parodying them.   However, my totally justified sense of grievance appears to be in a minority these days.  The comment which had 249 approvals was:

This synthetic moral outrage really is getting rather tedious.

And this had quite a few too:

Don’t people like you realise that your constant accusations of rascism are making things worse?  People are sick and tired of being told what to do, what to say and what to think.

    The black pieter one was done well in a british comedy, but BP was a ‘notherner’. But Dave Allen – what a funny man. I still almost revere his tale of the death of Dracula. The punch line still cracks me up.
