Higham elsewhere

counting cats

Not at OoL this time but at Counting Cats in Zanzibar. If you can, get down there and tear me apart in comments.   It’s my answers to 11 political questions.

When we start praising fellow bloggers, there’s always the risk of why some were left out.   All I can say is that in the libertarian area, Karl Denninger, Vox Day, Counting Cats and various UK blogs like Samizdata are not just good blogs, they’re among the great world blogs and to be given some sort of nod of recognition by the likes of one or two of them really makes me proud.

Now a little secret – for one such in the UK – Longrider, with whom I had that little spat over religion and mutual recriminations of misrepresentation – don’t ever think he’s anything less than a major libertarian and I was most proud that he’d even have associated with me [see Groucho Marx].  Think we got a pretty good run out of that connection before I blew it.  🙂

    ” I blew it. ”

So kiss and make up. Job done.

Go on…you know you want to.

The kids don’t like it when the grown-ups fight…

Loss of good friends causes pain that we can do without. Lighten the burden and regain the friend.

Yes, it’s hardly in my power. I wasn’t the one who made the break. As always, I don’t fall out with people – they decide to fall out with me. Ho hum – them’s the breaks.

I dunno, Higgo. You seem a pretty unlikely candidate to inspire alienation. If somebody rattled my cage in a way which I did not anticipate the first thing I would do would be completely unproductive, but second thing I would do is examine my own cage. A remark generally hurts in proportion to the truth it contains.
