Novel writes man

It’s like sex and chocolate – once you start, you can’t stop.  It starts writing you and you have a plan, you do, you have some sort of idea who the killer is but the guy fronts you and shows that it couldn’t possibly have been her and the fingers on the keyboard are aching but you can’t stop.  Meanwhile, all else is neglected, ho hum.

If it grabs you like that, keep at it until it is played out.

It is rather a strange feeling when the characters take over the story, I’ve had it happen several times.

In fact I have it happening at the moment. My plan was that they would make a scientific advance through hard work but they went ahead and created an AI to do the hard work for them. I will be interested in finding out where they end up.

Just stopped. He winds up in a mutual protection pact with the bad girl and they’re on the run from some Kray Brothers types, Bricktop, you know.

I wrote a novel a few years ago. It was quite rude. In fact very rude. :)
