The snow falleth

Thought it would be easy to find an image of big flakes of snow coming down past yellow streetlamps, which is happening outside right now but it’s proved to be difficult.  The cameraphone won’t do the job so I’ve had to use this above.

Where I live has roads at different heights on the hilly terrain and at different angles so the rows of lights with snow drifting down past them are most picturesque.   Snow so alters the whole scene that I couldn’t live too far away from it.

About this morning’s matter, nothing yet resolved, so held over the head until Monday at least.  Not a nice time.   John Lennon got “Imagine” wrong – he should have sung – imagine there’s no government, no one to make your life a misery.  And no banks and utilities companies.

I’ve just looked again and the ground is covered out there but so far it’s not sticking to the branches.

It’s falling here and sticking to everything. No traffic on the road outside – everybody must have decided to stay in.

It has dumped a lot down by me this evening but it has all gone wet and slushy!
