Superstar women and Beta men

No doubt you have seen this-

Here’s the best comment-

If women have great capabilities to be business leaders, why not form their own companies, employ mainly women, and dominate an industry? It should be easy given how much better than men they claim to be.

I’m still waiting to find some female bricklayers or plasterers.

As you say, it’s all just hissy fits and nothing to do with equality or whatever their excuse is this week.

‘Dominant’ is a word oft used when it comes to chaps co-operating at work en masse. The ‘Male Dominated’ perjorative is like bullets on a battlefield. But one never hears ‘Female dominated’ schools and hospitals, council offices, public servant department (wash ma mouf out – I meant, public customer relations departments) and the like.

I look forward to the day when our real reality TV shows fisherwomen battling the heavy seas in trawlers to put fish on a man’s plate, or even an entertainment shoot’em-up film about nasty girls sent behind enemy lines , each to be dispatched gruesomely one after the other as is so common with male characters.

Men do not like dirty, dangerous jobs. Women don’t either. But someone has to do them and it is always men. 94% of workplace deaths are male deaths. Equality will be apparant when women at work face the same factors and fears that men are obliged to. But I am not holding my breath, not even in the same way as the ladies who do it to turn blue and blame a man.

There are companies set up by women and mainly staffed by women though not entirely as that falls foul of the sex discrimination law. There’s a F.A. (financial advisors) company in Yorkshire and I think one was set up for lady plumbers for women who live on their own, who might not want a tradesman in their house. Also there’s a taxi service for the same reason which is used by women who’ve been attacked.

Amfortas, I thought there were already computer games like Lara Croft where women shoot ‘em up. But I guess that don’t count if she’s only shooting bad guys!
