Which film star do you want playing you?

Imagine they’re doing a film of your life – time to cast the lead role. Now obviously, the actor you want portraying you might be a bit of a tosser in real life [moreso than oneself] but we’re not fussed by that here – he [or she] is an actor, right?

Choose three the casting director should approach to play you in all your glory. Here are three who could play me.

The cheek is just about right [click pic to play]:

As I did look in 2004, minus the hair:

This is how I’d like to look in the film, playing up the cadaverous aspect, minus the huge hooter:

Special mention Max Keiser.

Who are three of yours?   Let your ego run riot …

Bearing in mind that good actors can play any role no matter how unlike they might be in appearance, hair colour etc:

    Emma Thompson
or in later years her mother Phyllida Law
    Lily Tomlin

I can’t see your first video (not available in US) but I kind of recognise him. Of your 3, I much prefer Rob Downey Jnr – always has ready wit and twinkle in the eye.

Probably as well actually :) It’s Colin Farrell in In Bruges.

I’ve been told that I look like “a British actor” but no one ever specifies.

That, or “the jerk boyfriend in The Wedding Singer,” who, as it turns out, is American actor Matthew Glave.

    Go figure.

Sooty or Muffin may not quite be up to portraying some parts of my life but I am sure they could give it a good shot. I rather hope for guest appearances from Juliette Binoche and Jessica Alba (in her early days) as a few who have stuck their hand up me or pulled my strings.

I’ve been told that I have a slight resemblanceto actor Barry Corbin. I don’t really see it, myself.
