Yep. Someone said at the end: “He’s coming through.” He’ll dig under the fence and get through. Wombats are straight line and almost nothing deflects them. We had one collapse our tent because it was in the way of his food source. Love ‘em.
I can vouch for the weight of those liitle tykes. Their ‘mass’ is akin to a small black hole. They even live in one. I have only seen live ones running around ( and one that lives in a small hotel en route from Hobart to Strahan) and not a squashed one on the road. The cars they hit would come off worse. But were one to be ‘cut’ I am sure it would bleed lead.
