    What program are you using to generate them?

    I have a simple program I wrote years ago that turns a fractal into a 3D landscape (I have to admit I used some of the code from the fractint program) but I’m looking for a good one to generate the initial fractals since the DOS based ones are very limited in colour range.

      All done with ChaosPro but their page has not been updated since Feb 2011.

      For some reason it doesn’t work too well with WindowsVista, these were done on my other machine running XP. It also produced some spectacular 3D images. 🙂
      Like you I am looking for another good fractal generator. There is something called Frax but I haven’t had time to explore it yet.
