n the heels of the deadly jihadist attack in Orlando that killed 49, the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)– with the help of the UC Berkeley Center for Race and Gender– released a national strategy report on fighting Islamophobia in 2016. The report’s definition of Islamophobia is so far-out, so steeped in campus Marxist radicalism and Critical Theory jargon, that it actually overshadows the errors in the rest of the 140-page document. It must be read to be believed:
Islamophobia is a contrived fear or prejudice fomented by the existing Eurocentric and Orientalist global power structure. It is directed at a perceived or real Muslim threat through the maintenance and extension of existing disparities in economic, political, social, and cultural relations, while rationalizing the necessity to deploy violence as a tool to achieve “civilizational rehab” of the target communities (Muslim or otherwise). Islamophobia reintroduces and reaffirms a global racial structure through which resource distribution disparities are maintained and extended.
We’ve railed against this trend for a long time but have we really come up with a plan to root these people out? Where does one start? With the recruiters one would think.
But first, as with Brexit, there must be sufficient public consciousness about it to back any moves from above. Then it’s a case of actually getting into the “above”. In other words, our own sleepers who, once in, start changing their rhetoric and moves by degrees, in response to some stimuli.
Trouble is, we can’t countenance killing off an MP or at a minimum, using her death for full effect as a propaganda tool – it takes a certain kind of mind to stoop so low. And this is the advantage the hard left have.
It’s a conundrum.
