Who the hell does Hammond think he is?

In one episode of Nero Wolfe, he was telling the inspector what the latter could and could not do, prompting a financier who was present to explode: “Who the hell does this guy think he is?”

One could say the same about Hammond:

“I don’t believe we should be in the business of making potentially nugatory expenditure until the very last moment when we need to do so.”

If this were fiscally responsible, then fine, the Chancellor is doing as he should. However, that’s not the context, is it?

His boss has indicated that she would be ready with the readies for the No Deal – his refusal was a sackable offence in days gone by. And how come he followed on from the useless Osborne, who followed on from the useless Darling? Why has no one competent been appointed? And it’s not only here – there’s the useless Yellen in the US.

The game of course is that all the real decisions are taken by the BofE who take orders from Tavistock, otherwise known as Chatham House, Bilderberg, the BIS et al. Hammond is their man, May the puppet leader.

Hammond, like Boris, is unsackable, just as Osborne was.

Needless to say, this is not what the people of this land voted in. At least it is … but they didn’t know what they were voting in. Should have guessed though.

# 1922 Committee, do your job. Go see May – tell her sack Hammond, Rudd and Green or prepare for Leadership change.

# He needs to be fired. It has been obvious from the off that a no deal scenario is possible. Not to have a contingency plan for it is either gross stupidity or deliberate obstruction. Most likely the latter.

My take? May and Hammond are sitting tight as they know there’s an engineered crash coming – they can’t do anything until that happens and then there are a set of prescribed reactions they’ll have. At local level [UK], of course they’d prefer Corbyn in charge now to carry the can but at European and global level the agenda is waiting to play out.

For all her utter incompetence, she must know what is being said, even at Guido’s place – Tories do go there. She is so bad, so incompetent that it can only be by design, not by inability to get out of her own way.

But at least Tony Bliar has fallen on hard times. Oh, you mean he hasn’t? Well then, at least The Boy has fallen on hard times. Oh, you mean he hasn’t?

Davos and the Bilderbergs watch out for their flunkies. On BOTH sides of the Pond.
