Hob’s Pie

The quiche remained to finish and I wanted some veg with it, not much. There was some left over in the bowl, so what to do with it?  Also, there was this mince I’d cooked up to keep it longer [no fridge]:

Answer was Cottage Pie of course or rather, my version – Hob’s Pie:

Add mashed tatties:

Simple:

Have a good lunch. Anything special at your end?

      1. The cost in electricity, although this was just a bonus.

      2. The main reason – approximating the boat situation four years ago to see if it could be done and it working so well that it was kept on as the permanent system.

Hence my question about the squashes.

It uses tubs in the bath and I’ve demonstrated how to a few people.

Real men don’t eat lunch and breakfast is a pot of coffee and a pack of smokes.
That said the Hob’s Pie was looking good right up to the point you poured those ‘vegetable’ things over it, those vitamin thingys will do for you in the end, take my word on it.

Can well believe it, plus there were tomatoes and peas embedded in the mince which I never told anyone about.

Before noon, a piece of toast, a cup of coffee and a pipe.

Meal at 6.30. This evening it was thin chips, with a nice salmon block, slow cooked in a pan. I saute’ed some mushrooms, red capsicum and chopped eggplant, and finished them in a parsley white sauce.

    It is Friday.
