Name the Royal babe

Best we get in before he’s named. What’s the name going to be?

I quite like Babe McBabeface.

Some music to go with it, conducted by that most British of conductors, Sakari Oramo:

“Augustus” really needs to figure in there somewhere….if only to piss off the Moog with his Sixtus. But truth be told, as long as their Britannic Majesties2b don’t consult Don Jamie Oliver when choosing names, all is good.

We can be pretty certain that Wayne, Kevin or Donald won’t feature in the football-team-list of names that this new royal issue will acquire.

If they’re keen on showing their populist credentials, then we may expect to see the nation’s most popular male-child name, Mohammed, in there somewhere, with Barack as a secondary each-way bet.

As an aside, since welfare benefits are now limited to the first two children of the unemployed, does that mean no more dosh in the Civil List for this latest addition to the Duchy of Cambridge claimant-count?

Al-bert could be a nod to uncle Al-Fayed.

Oi, Hob. I think I may have the explanation for your difficulties with women. It seems that women are closely related to chimps.

You couldn’t, I believe, Dearieme, be aware of this but there are some uncanny things happening and one is that I’ve significantly altered the book in one part [end of part two] because it needs an explanation of some standing today [not just an obscure biblical reference] that one of the characters, who is in govt, needs to refer to to explain just what humankind is up against … beyond normal explanations.

In fact, at 05:41, I’m there right now at that part, including renaming the book, and what should appear but something like this from you:

      Curiouser and curiouser.
