        So long as they have adequate height BEFORE starting the manoeuvre there shouldn’t be a problem. With a lightly loaded plane and plenty of surplus power they won’t have to risk exceeding VNE in a dive first.

        Probably the biggest risk is getting into negative “G” in a plane without fuel and oil systems designed for such eventualities. Having the engines quit, or loosing hydraulic boost for flight controls would be a bit of a bind…
