Never underestimate a Norfolk Church Primary School Education in the 70s; RRRote ,second person singular informal, mnemonics (in 1665 ‘ardly a soul…) and the Book of Common Prayer.

He marched them up to the top of the hill,
and he marched them down again.

Or, if you prefer, Great lakes.

        A man, a plan, a canal, Suez!

    What colour is indigo?

More specifically, why does the spectrum have two blues?

Erm…. no-one has actually said what the colours are!

From BD’s aide memoire: Raw sienna, Oxford blue, Yellow, Grey, Beige, Imperial red and Vanilla :p 🙂

    Rot, Orange, Gelb und Grün

    sind im Regenbogen drin.

    Blau und Indigo geht’s weiter

    Auf der Regenbogenleiter.

    Und zum Schluss das Violett,

    Sieben Farben sind komplett.

A Quick N Dirty BD Translation for those not up on dodgy East German doggerel:

      “Red, orange, yellow & green
      are in the rainbow.
Going further up the rainbow ladder
      (are) blue & indigo.
      And at the end violet.
      Seven colours are complete”
