3. Tech triple whammy from haiku:

# Bit like the motor industry – could it be that, as an example, mid-range graphics cards are $600 ? And that’s before you build the box to put it in:

It’s fairly obvious that economics & elasticity are not mandatory amongst the PR (and most journalists) crowd.

7. Last but not least, difficult to make a french onion stewy-soup seem enticing whilst still in the pan – cheated with the french onion bit, then added onion, pepper, cabbage, egg, pork, chives, tomatoes, shall throw in some creme fraiche in the bowl and some chopped herbs over that. You?

I had poached eggs and mashed potato for lunch. And half a banana. This evening we will fall upon a meze, accompanied by a glass of Zin.

I don’t know what will be for pud: perhaps I’ll just gnaw a Braeburn. One of the sadnesses of January is that the Coxes and Russets are finished and so we must eat lesser varieties.

Still, it’s about teatime, and crumpets beckon.

Dinner tonight will be fries and doner-mushroom-ham pizza from the chippy downstairs- with more grease than a teddy boy convention.

    4. Those bring back memories of my late ma-in-law who used to have one after meals as a dessert.

    7. Lunch was roasted parsnips, buttery cabbage, gravy and roasted duck which had died of old age, followed by mousetrap, fruit cake and a clementine. Was washed down with a glass of merlot/sauvignon summat or other. Tonight will be a salad of some sort probably – not particularly hungry (pigged out on too much chocolate – well, it needs eating : ) )

That broth looks good – just what is needed for the fight against the lurgy.

Cold somen noodles with gomashio and tamari soy.

That all sounds good fayre above. Haven’t had poached for years either. My soupy thing was very much for lurgy warding off but just happened to be tasty as well.

#2. – Must be Brexit uncertainty, Global Warming hidden heat effect or Trump conspiring with Putin to confuse EU Army navigators.

Just saw footage of a car in Austria with about five feet of overnight global warming on top of it.
