    We polished off our lovely Borlotti and Franks soup for lunch.

    Talk is that there may be a curry this evening. I’ll just pop a big bottle of Hoegaarden in the fridge.

    We just had a glass of red to go with a one pan sort of effort. Chicken thighs, skin on bone in, red onion wedges, whole tomatoes, large chunks of peppers, few black olives, garlic, drizzle of olive oil, all bunged on a tray cooked in the oven. Resulted in crispy skinned fall off the bone chicken and caramelised veggies. Delish. Followed by French mousetrap. No idea what’s on the menu tonight. Curry tomorrow though to get us through hump day.

    Curry’s off, dear. Pressure of time means it’ll be Dijon Chicken instead. With a glass of Aussie Riesling each. I’m hoping for some trifle for pud.

    Iron skillet sirloin minute steaks with garlic, vidalia onion, roma tomato, and red bell pepper with a red wine deglaze sauce.

    Quick, easy, cheap, tasty.
