    Re #3 – I’m part way through watching a TV documentary about the Great Escape – a team have been granted permission to excavate the site and look for the original tunnels, as well as have a fresh go themselves. The bit I have seen shows that it was an unbelievably difficult task, and you have to take your hat off to the POW’s who made it out.
