    Is that really for real? 🙂 Nope I would not do that but I did do Striding Edge – Helvellyn when I was about 15/16. Happy days….

    (And Weeping Tessie has made my day. A.B.T! Living proof that anyone who says they want to be PM when they grow up should be prevented at all costs.)

        I don’t know, if you do it at 16 in the winter with snow everywhere and an 80 year old guide maybe you should be able to also do it at 80 😉 but I doubt the present generation could do it at any age.

    Hmmm… I always though that a name like “death zone” would put most sane people off. I thought it was some obscure heavy metal band.
