Monday omnibus

Just getting overwhelmed by topics now, the team never sleeps, keeps on sending and I get right behind in doing each topic justice. We’ll do the best we can in this omnibus.

1. First off, my campaign has started of Priti for PM:

Many assumptions here. She’ll pull in the Indian vote, women, ostensibly those for diversity though we know it’s bollox – they only want the worst foreign women, e.g. Omar, she’s paid her dues, been vilified for Brexit, Brexit Party still is not in power, she is, best she stay inside for now.

Chances? Not many but remember the notion of compromise candidate in Yes Minister’s final episode? Except she has a brain, this one and is outspoken.

2. Nuke this one from orbit:

3. Url says it all:

4. Stolen from peter – Bentley supertank:

Boys with toys?  You’d better believe it, Bud.

Also this from BRM:

5. The Onion’s take on GofT:

6. Nice one:

Not long ago, few Americans of the thinking persuasion might have imagined that such a well-engineered republic, with its exquisite checks and balances, sturdy institutions, and time-tested traditions would end up as so much smoldering goop in a national dumpster fire, but such is the sad state-of-the-union moving into the fateful summer of 2019. The castle of the permanent bureaucracy is about to be torched by an uprising of deplorable peasants led by a Golden Golem made furious by relentless litigation. It’s Game of Thrones meets the Thermidorian Reaction with a Weimar-flavored cherry on top — really one for the ages!

Just love all the hints he’s currently dropping, also stepping on that plane after those hints.  sheer gall.

7. Important:

8. More in the Huey-way I’m having trouble getting into:

9. Sigh:

10. Makings of elevenses, which has turned into twelveses, mainly because I’m writing to you now:

Any …er … culinary gems you’ve come out with lately?

    1. Gets the thumbs down chez nous. It is a man’s world. 😛
    6. Would like to be a fly on the wall when Trump meets Charlie at the Palace for face-off over global moaning.
    7. Salmon fillet topped with home made pesto using purple basil then baked. Looked a bit strange but was delish.
    8. Just remember Huey baaaaad. That’s it.

Bgr the look, as long as it was delish.

I’ve started consuming kefir. It reminds me of the slightly sour yoghurt of my uni days, before yog became sweet to please the palates of kiddywinkies.

Which kefir, you might ask? At the mo’ it’s whichever is on offer. Favourites will doubtless emerge. The frontrunner is currently Yeo’s Mango and Passionfruit.

    1. Perfect candidate if you want to stumble from one mistake to the next. She will actively repel the Indian male vote and the Indian vote has no value for the Conservatives anyway. Why chase it? To look good to in the eyes of those who hate you? Better than the clown Johnsons or the twerp Gove though. Cons have willingly broken themselves on the altar of the EU. May’s treachery of committing to EU Army after the referendum will not be forgiven, nor should it be.

Oh well, it was a thought.

It was a good thought, James. She is a very intelligent lady who would quickly step into the role. She is direct, I can imagine her dealing with certain remainers in a swift and decisive manner.
