The river

Mom, Dad, and 2 kids have come to a river, and they find a boat. It is small and can only carry one adult or 2 kids at a time. Both kids are good rowers, but how can the whole family reach the other side of the river?

They have to make several trips.

The 2 kids go across, one stays and one rows back to fetch mum. Then mum stays and a kid rows back to fetch dad.

Snowflakes will complain about child labour. 🙂

If they’re a family of ‘Syrian’ refugees then the adult male will row across to the other side of the Bosphorous and leave his family behind. Then a few years later after settling in a suitably rich European country will get his host nation to pay for them to be shipped over and be re-united on humanitarian grounds. Problem solved.

2 kids go first. 1 stays 1 comes back and changes place with adult. Adult goes over and changes place with kid and kid comes back leaving 2 kids and 1 adult in starting position. 2 kids go over again, 1 stays and 1 comes back changes place with 2nd adult who rows over changes place with kid again who then comes back for the remaining kid.

    The End.

They all walk up the road until they come to a bridge. 😉

Put the kids in the boat: Mum and Dad hang on the back and flap their feet as propulsion.

Yep, don’t know why I can’t take this one today seriously.
