1. A timely reminder:
If we can step back to the context of the day, the various revolutions had been, there’d been 1812, the establishment were edgy and someone among them gave the order to charge and murder.
First thing is that the soldiers, being ‘of the people’, complied and with gusto. What does that say about them?
And the workers? What did they hope to achieve, apart from being murdered?
And finally – the one who gave the order – how far up the line did it go?
2. So, Peter Fonda’s dead? He’ll not be missed, nor his father, nor his sister, Hanoi Jane:
3. There was a tweet I’ll not put up here because it’s ugly, plus you may well take issue with the sentiments.
It was a clip of a girl in her 20s driving home, thoroughly p***ed off by California, its over-regulation etc. Exasperated, she says she’s had enough, she’s closed her doors for the last time [presumably a shop] and that’s it.
First thought was sympathy. Then the camera caught the tatts and nosebones. Now even in the 50s, some women of a kind thought one ‘tasteful tatt’ classy, though it was not – it labelled a woman just as much then as now.
This in the clip was not that ‘tasteful tatt’. This was both shoulders and upper arms full of ink, self-mutilation beyond and my first thought was – no wonder your business closed.
Now you might take great issue with that but I’m saying that it’s highly indicative, in combination with other things. And there were other things. It is indicative of a disordered mind, certainly not one which successfully runs businesses on her own.
There was a beautiful girl in one tweet, complaining she could not get a decent man to date her. Someone I was with asked why, I said look at her knees. Jeans with huge rips in them – you’d marry that?
4. This is not from Twitter and is from a female of the species:
Greta and her sister have Asperger syndrome, are OCD and have selective mutism. Their parents are probably at their wits end so decided to humour the crazy little bitch.
Rough but hard to argue against.
5. There’s a tweet by Juanita Broaddrick [look her up in Wiki, discounting its left bias]:
I ask again. Why is Ghislaine Maxwell running free? Vanity Fair, 8-12-19, quoted her as saying about the victims….. “They’re nothing, these girls. They are trash”. I repeat. Why is she not in jail?
Why not indeed.
