1. Never ascribe to chance and coincidence that which is clearly collusion and malice aforethought:

Have you considered that CP in every council wants the high streets closed?  You can therefore only buy, only eat from online or from controlled superbarns.

2. This is what represents us?

“It’s just mind-blowing to me that these basic well-known needs, that mental health is health care, are still being denied, that we’re still fighting for these absolutely basic things, it’s unbelievable to me,” she said.

Wait a minute, she’s getting “mental health therapy sessions” and also “marriage counseling sessions”? Does the name Eagleton ring a bell?

He goes on:

Yeah, I understand that mentally-ill women are a crucial part of Democrat grassroots coalition, but having the congressman’s wife babbling insane nonsense on Instagram might not be a winning strategy in South Carolina’s 1st District, which was represented by Republicans since 1981.

    wrt 1. – conspiracy.

I had a friend on the Newcastle City Council who told me a decade ago plus, that there was a dominant, active and malicious ‘make life hard for drivers’ attitude among Leftists of the council.

I’ve told many people about this, but they would not believe it – preferring to pretend that unrelenting anti-car policies and practices (e.g. closing down a major artery for about Two Years to repair a small bridge; building bike lanes that are literally wider than car lanes) were incompetence, or merely excessive idealistic zeal for Green issues.

Well, now it is open and explicit – They aim to ‘make life harder for drivers’ (even the buses and taxis that were – a generation ago, supposed to replace private cars).

This stuff, plus the behaviour of parliament over the past 2.5 years, has hammered it home that we are ruled by actively malicious people who are plotting to make our lives worse.

Anyone who now doesn’t recognise this is wilfully self-blinded (or, often enough, personally working for the evil Establishment).

So, that is one positive step, isn’t it?

It is. I take cars to places and the drivers tell interesting stories about how routes are closed off by some dept, they then leave malfunctioning lights at the intersection for the weekend, inclusing Monday morn.

They eventually finish the work and another dept digs up the road further on.

Once done, they start over with the BT cables or water or whatever. Meanwhile, the high street dies.
