Confessions of a social media addict

Well … it certainly seems that way. And along the way, you see all sorts, most of whom are trolling or idly chattering but now and then, something shows it might be worth it, for example, with Linda van Kollenburg@LindavK1972, friend of Kassandra.

And there is this …

These are screens from a group of vegan activists who wanted to launch actions yesterday. These are neat and animal-loving vegans … Want to set fire to a barn. We now know for sure that they actually do this!

Point of even knowing this?  Context, laze and gem – context.  You store some, let the rest go past. How did I know about Martin Selner in Austria and Generation Identity?

Well, that one was easy – an American girl married him and translated into English.

But you do see what is happening here – people my age, in this country and at their age in theirs are able to communicate and we find out what the other sectors within our own society and theirs are up to and facing.

Some brave souls want to know what the enemy are up to, daily, but I let others read Al Jazeera or the Guardian, as I can’t stomach such things.

Why on earth do any of it at all?  W-e-e-e-l-l-l-l-l, it’s not unlike this:

They put a band back together, it smokes out baddies, it also brings out goodies on their trail and baddies on the trail of the goodies.

What, you, you, you? Wot, l’il ole me? Why not?

“You say your life is your own,” went on Mr Satterthwaite to her, “But can you dare to ignore the chance that you are taking part in a gigantic drama under the orders of a Divine Producer? Your cue may not come till the end of the play; it may be totally unimportant, a mere walk-on part, but upon it may hang the issues of the play if you fail to give the cue to another player. The whole edifice may crumple. You, as you, may not matter to anyone in the world but you as a person in a particular place and context may matter unimaginably.”

She sat down, still staring at him.

The boris show is certainly high drama. But there are obstacles, where FoS was able to clear one of them up:

O wad some powr the giftie gie us:

The view of the twitterless.

Jake and Elwood may have been taking the amber fluid but I’d say the gentle joke’s on the Jakes and Elwoods in the end. What you personally intend is not necessarily the way it’s used.

My message, if there is one, is – leave it all out there on the field, people, hold nothing back, say what needs saying, create what you need to but don’t just read and leave it at that. And the spinoffs take care of themselves.

Mr H asks “How’s your weather just now?”

Thunderbolts and lightning but not very frightening. Raining now for approx 17 days with brief respites of a couple of hours here and here. Strong winds but that’s normal as it’s the season for ’em. Hosepipe ban still in force though so no watering of the garden lol!

Btw, I’m twitter-less but can still see the tweets you post on here.
