4.  The BBC approach to truth

Haiku reports that this is how the BBC puts it:

Coronavirus: World must prepare for pandemic, says WHO

… and how WHO puts it, as reported at Arstechnica:

WHO tries to calm talk of pandemic, says the word “does not fit the facts”

What to actually think of it all, eh?

Trump is right to be furious at the repatriations. Calling him a ‘germophobe’ is ridiculous. Bringing all those infected folk back to a number of countries is a guaranteed way to quickly spread it around the world.

The effects are being felt on Bourses worldwide. Billions being shed from portfolios and company values. The Marxist nong from Shitsville Africa who heads up the WHO seems gleeful that he has an epidemic on his CV, but he should perhaps be demanding that China compensates the losses of the world’s businesses.
