12.  Something interesting to me and bless

Not sure we should comment too much at this stage on the American notion of America being ‘the whole world’ – the important thing is he’ll live. And there are people around the world commenting.

Something not remotely interesting:

11.  The Airbus Vulcan?

10.  Who’s joking?

9.  I feel a song coming on

Dr. Peter also had another interesting theory about getting promoted. He considered working hard and improving your skill sets not as effective as something called “Pull Promotion”. That’s when you get promoted — faster than usual — when a mentor or patron pulls you up.

Chris and Tina – great engine room for that band.

7. PM of England?

Seems to me Johnson wishes to be PM of a new country aligned with the EU:

Nicola Sturgeon: ‘Calling me Wee Jimmy Krankie is abuse’

Calm down, dear.  However, others have noted the manner with Scotland, Ireland – he does not seem to have put down the ‘low of brow’ [Waugh] Welsh yet.

    5. That would be fairly easy to fix. Or do Your Betters already require you to get a license to buy a bucket of paint???

If one were to buy a 5 gallon bucket of black paint and dump it on the crosswalk, that crosswalk would no longer be rainbow colored. And if they then do anything to remove the black, then they are clearly racists!!!

Re Airbus. Airbus was looking to blend their wings in with the BAE Nimrod refurbishment programme and it was looking at massive overuns as the Nimrod bodies were individually made while the wings were engineered so one, and one only, wing fitted while the others had massive gaps sometimes of several feet. Unsurprisingly it was cancelled.

The annoying thing was that the GEC Nimrod was still streets ahead for detection over what else was available on the market.

#9. Not Dr. Peter of that principle?
        Explains a lot.
