Where is this?

Let’s make this into a question – if you live in this city or have visited it, you might get it without TinEye.

Which building is it?  Which city?

My first thought was St Pancras Station, but the span of that arch would have to be wider.

I’ll go with the Natural History Museum as well, based on the staircase. I can’t remember looking up at the ceiling when I went there *mumble, mumble* years ago but it does look very impressive.

PS I hope you’ve got over the worst of your flu James. It sounded pretty grim when I was reading it.

Thanks James. I went to bed last night with that one thought preying on my mind. Now I know. Well done those who spotted it right away.

We could really build things in those days. Compare that with the nasty, brutal architecture on display since the 1960s.

True and yet there’s a lot of metal in it … but done oh so nicely then.

Some of those architectural photos are nice, shall look around.
