This and that

She’s quite good on bass, don’t like the lipstick, her father is good on the rhythm but to me, it’s the boy’s lead guitar which does it:

Drummer’s very good too. What can one say about this next pair?

Another lovely:

And changing the mood, that song for WN1 and me I wasn’t going to play:

Promise we’ll do some British songs next time.

I don’t enjoy a lot of boogie woogie but I greatly enjoy a little of it. The duet was tremendous.

I saw Dr. John in concert about 14-15 years ago. It was the silliest thing I have ever attended.

College age kids, or they seemed to be, were standing in the aisles chatting and roaming around, standing in my way and in the way of other attendees too. They were not the least bit interested in the concert. It was more than just a few young ones. There was a gracious plenty of them. The concert was held in a theater. (Theatre?) I saw adults I know leave the concert early quite exasperated.

I heard later there was a following of Dr. John’s who did that. They would attend his concerts and chatted and roamed around not listening and they were heavy lidded all the while.

Of course people my age…and I was not so old then, were quite irked. It was a head scratching situation. Even still, paying a pretty good sum of money for an evening NOT to hear a musician or see a performance seems rather odd. I could not hear a concert anywhere for a lot cheaper.
