Maundy Thursday

6.  Just back from the great adventure

Nothing much to report except I’m in tears about the kindness of our govt who wrote to me, yes they did – none of you got this form letter, only me me me – it was all about how I, personally, should stay indoors – I was reading this on the way out.

It was so touching I think I’m going to have to phone N10 today and thank them, asking if I could speak to Boris personally.  Mind you, the letter’s probably been there a week.

5. Plod chasing crims

One of these police seem a bit strange to you?

Is she six feet away?

People in my home town, including me, are receiving the following text message:

“NHS Wolverhampton has teamed up with COVID-19 Care Assistant it can help check your symptoms, provide advice and chart your progress, try the app at: https://www.royalwolverhampton.nhs.uk/covid-19-care-assistant/

Clicking on the link takes you to the web page where you discover that the ‘free COVID-19 Care Assistant [is]powered by Babylon’.

A friend of mine did some digging around and discovered that ‘Babylon Health is building an integrated, AI-based health app to serve a city of 300K in England’.

That city is, of course, Wolverhampton. Amongst other things ‘… the plan is for Babylon and the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust — the local health authority and body that will oversee the work for the city’s population — to build an app that will not only provide remote diagnoses, but also live monitoring of patients with chronic conditions (using wearables and other monitoring apps) and the ability to connect people with doctors and others remotely.’

    Wearables eh? Aren’t we lucky?

    Read the rest here…

      “other monitoring apps”

They can burger right off with that one too! Plays right into Gates’ plan for us.
      No. Thank. You.

Maybe it was needed at Headquarters.
