Lots of good thoughtful stuff during the lockdown, James, thank you.

I am in two minds about this post, though.

The impression is that all of these murals were done in the time of the New Deal, when money was thrown at all kinds of nonsense. The birth of subliminal communism in the US, IMO.

We right-wing, free-market, laissez-faire thugs wonder whether any of the users of these post offices would have put their money into having a mural painted – which is, after all, the measure of whether anything is wanted or not. If so, why spend taxpayers’ money or government debt money on doing this?

Since most of these murals seem to be under threat in some way (always a problem with murals) we can assume that they are still not wanted.
