U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday invoked the Defense Production Act to aid companies building ventilators for coronavirus patients to receive the supply of materials they need.

In a memo released by the White House, Trump directed the U.S. Health and Human Services secretary to use his authority to help facilitate the supply of ventilator materials for six companies – General Electric Co, Hill-Rom Holdings Inc, Medtronic Plc, Resmed Inc, Royal Philips N.V. and Vyaire Medical Inc.

“the Open Society is a disease-ridden society living day-to-day on the edge of catastrophe”

So was Feudal Society in the mid-14th century and it was rather a closed society.

Anyway he’s misusing “Open Society” which carries no implication of open borders. Maybe the poor dear is not well read.

How convenient for GE. Their stock has been tanking for a long time. They’re a fossil in the game of electronics. Here’s a nice boost, courtesy of the tax payers.

Maybe off topic but I have just had a lightbulb light up above my head. The reason why I don’t see many mixed race couples around, it’s because they are busy making TV commercials.
