Certainly sounded like it. I have seen jets engage reverse thrust just above the ground too. Neat flying, if you are good enough.
Ah snow, of course. Could have done with a couple of those on the car over there.
Just think how much better the world would be if we could get an A380 full of Davosians and Bilderbergers to land there!!!

I’ve got a rather poor quality video in my collection of a Twotter landing in a howling gale – somewhere in the Arctic, by the look of it. There wasn’t really a runway to speak of, just some reasonably level ice, and this plane comes down like a helicopter stopping in barely twice its own length. Once on all 3 wheels the pilot had to keep fairly high power on, just to avoid being blown back across the ice.
De Havilland Canada have quite a knack for making STOL aircraft:
