Yorkshire Tea/Taylors of Harrogate and by extension the famous Betty’s Tea Room(s) supporting “that” organisation? If they’re sending money then it is going to the Dims wash cycle. Good to know the morning cuppa is funding the likes of Biden. NOT. Bit of a burger when the daily beverages get politicised.

    1. Apparently, the story about the statue being taken down at the request of Dorset Police is not correct.

    From Longrider:
“Local MP Conor Burns, who called the plan a ‘huge error of judgement’, said following the postponement: ‘It is now abundantly clear that the statement issued by @BCPCouncil yesterday saying Baden Powell’s statue was being removed on advice from @dorsetpolice was not true.”

His article continues along the lines of who made that original claim?

It is assumed it was politically motivated, and we know that that person will not be named, disciplined, or fired.

Hopefully, the local population will remember this at the next elections.
