You know you’re back in action when …

… obstacles start being strewn in your path. A simple task like ordering should be straightforward, but not when one yard supplies the right wood but won’t precut, another will precut but doesn’t have hardwood, though it is treated, a third has treated hardwood, they do cut and deliver but the phone is not working, nor can the local branch get through to them, it’s also £7 dearer per unit than any other yard, and the last yard has no treated and kept putting me on hold, then not coming back.

Anyway, it will be resolved and to those pointing out that today’s the last warm day – that’s actually good for my purposes – it needs to be around 13 to 15 degrees for joinery.

Just threw the calculation sheets on the bed and took a snap as time is whooshing past:

    Looking good.
Side elevation and plan, but what is the bottom view?
Are you also going to make the dingy?

Dinghy I already have – Mirror dinghy.

Lower view was where the sheets were on the bedding and that twisted the page, was in a hurry at the time with the actual calculations for the ordering of materials this week.

That lower picture is the hull profile from the stern but not the stern – the middling part of the boat. More on that possibly tomorrow although it’s a busy one most of the day.

Having posted this, there’s a major glitch coming up Thursday. Gulp.
