The psychology of colours

That’s fine in dress, particularly for the gals but it also applies in boats.

There’s a theory of no more than three colours, it gets too cluttered and yes, I can see that. But I’ve two base or background colours – simple white as the ‘canvas’ and interior, plus natural wood, achieved by clear epoxy over the surface, sometimes over glass fibre.

My detailing and trim colours are deep maroon/burgundy/crimson plus deep green, not unlike British racing green. The anti-foul bottom is the deep red described.
